Are you ready for fun and adventure? Are you prepared to do things that others do not even dream of accomplishing? If so, then the Scouts of Troop 612 welcome you to join them in the “Game of Scouting”.
This pamphlet is designed to be a quick reference for Scouts and their parents who have questions about the Boy Scout program presented by Troop 612.
If you have any additional questions, please feel free to ask the Committee Chairperson, Scoutmaster, or any registered leader.
Information presented supplements the information contained in many other BSA publications: The Boy Scout Handbook, Junior Leader Handbook, Scoutmaster's Handbook, Troop Committee Guidebook, Guide to Safe Scouting, and the Hiking, Camping, and Backpacking Merit Badge pamphlets.
Our troop is chartered to the San Lorenzo Community Church, a member of the United Churches of Christ. As one facet of their youth program, they started our troop over 40 years ago.
We are grateful for the continued support of the congregation for our program. They allow us the use of their social hall and other rooms for our troop activities, and storage of the troop gear on their premises.
In addition, the congregation has been very supportive of the various fundraising events that the troop depends upon to survive.
